Last updated: April 20, 2025

CosmoPapers ("the App") is a personal project designed to provide users with daily access to NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD). Your privacy is important to us, and this policy outlines how we handle your data.

1. Information We Collect

CosmoPapers does not collect, store, or share any personal information from users. The app functions entirely on-device and does not require login or account creation.

2. Data Sources

The only external data fetched by the app is from NASA’s publicly available APOD API, which provides daily astronomy images and descriptions. No identifiable user data is sent to NASA or any third party.

3. Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics services or tracking tools. We do not collect usage statistics, location data, or device identifiers.

4. Third-Party Services

No third-party SDKs or services are used within the app, apart from accessing NASA’s APOD API. All data fetched is read-only and used solely for educational and informational purposes.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App does not target anyone under the age of 13. No data is knowingly collected from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

If there are any changes to this Privacy Policy, they will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
